SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A dead body was found in a dugout of the West Side Recreation Park baseball field on Division Street, according to Saratoga Springs Police. Police have not released the name of the person and will not until the next of kin are contacted. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! Police say they received a report at approximately 7 a.m. regarding a welfare check of someone inside the dugout who appeared to be there for several hours. The body was removed from the scene at roughly 8:30 a.m. and was taken to Saratoga Hospital pending an autopsy. Police are investigating this case and say there is no indication of criminal activity in the death. NORTHUMBERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Northumberland man was arrested and is accused of grand larceny. Stephen Rajeski, 53, was arrested on Tuesday. State Police say they received a complaint from a victim saying they had entered into an agreement with Rajeski for contracted work for a new generator. Rajeski allegedly never provided or installed the agreed-upon generator, according to state police, causing a financial loss of $8,894 to the victim. Rajeski surrendered himself to Saratoga State Police for processing. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A home builder from Altamont was arrested on Tuesday and is accused of grand larceny, schemes to defraud, and more, according to New York State Police. A man found dead on a sidewalk in Sylmar Thursday morning had been shot multiple times, investigators said.The shooting was reported around 12 a.m. in the 15000 block of Foothill Boulevard.Officers responding to the call located a man in his 50s down on the sidewalk who was unconscious and not breathing, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed.
